Local to Evesham

Joinery made for Evesham homes

From kitchens to under-stairs storage, we cover Evesham and the surrounding Vale of Evesham villages from our Stratford workshop.

We work throughout Evesham

We work throughout Evesham and the Vale of Evesham, including Bengeworth, Hampton, Badsey, Bretforton, Offenham and the villages towards Broadway. Everything is made at our Stratford-upon-Avon workshop and fitted in Evesham by our own team.

Getting to you and booking dates

Evesham is an easy run west from Stratford-upon-Avon, which keeps survey and fitting visits straightforward to plan. We arrange consultations at a time that suits you by phone, then confirm firm manufacture and fitting dates with the written quotation rather than quoting a response window up front.

Property types in Evesham

The Vale mixes stone and brick cottages, Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Bengeworth and the town centre, interwar housing, farmhouses and converted agricultural buildings, and modern estates around the edges of Evesham. Rural and semi-rural property here brings its own requirements: more storage for outdoor kit, and joinery that copes with older, less regular building fabric.

What we are asked for most here

In Evesham we are most often asked for boot rooms and utility joinery, bespoke kitchens for cottages and farmhouses where standard units cannot sit true, fitted wardrobes in bedrooms with sloping ceilings, under-stairs storage, and fitted furniture in alcoves and around chimney breasts.

Local building conditions

The problems Evesham properties bring us

Cottage kitchens where nothing is square

Stone and brick cottages across the Vale have walls that bow, floors that fall and ceilings that vary by tens of millimetres across a run. Modular kitchens deal with that using filler panels; made-to-measure cabinets are built to the surveyed dimensions and scribed, so the run reads as part of the building.

Wet and muddy entrances

Rural and semi-rural households bring mud, boots and dogs through the back door daily. Boot-room joinery built from moisture-resistant materials with proper airflow stops that mess crossing into the rest of the house and stops the furniture failing within a couple of seasons.

Low ceilings and beams

Older Vale properties often combine low ceilings with exposed beams, which rules out standard wardrobe heights entirely. We survey the real headroom and design storage that uses the height available rather than stopping short of it.

Solid walls and older fabric

Solid brick and stone walls behave differently from modern cavity construction. Battening, packing and appropriate fixings matter, and so does specifying finishes that suit the wall rather than trapping moisture against it.
