What we collect
When you complete an enquiry form we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the area you live in, the type of project you are considering, any budget range you choose to share and the details you write in the message field. If you call or email us we hold the contact details and correspondence you provide.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a free design consultation, prepare and send a quotation, and to deliver and support any work you subsequently order. Our lawful bases are your consent when you submit an enquiry, and the performance of a contract once you place an order.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is shared only with the service providers that help us run the business: for example our website host, email provider and customer enquiry system, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Our joinery is made by our own team in our own workshop, so project details are not passed to subcontracted manufacturers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, insurance and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@mjsbespokejoinery.co.uk and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
