In Jon's words

Craftsmanship has always been part of my life

“My passion for creating beautiful interiors and bespoke fitted furniture started at a young age. Coming from a family and generations of skilled joiners, craftsmanship has always been part of my life. I've always appreciated the skill, precision and attention to detail required to transform an idea into something beautifully made.

I started MJS Bespoke Joinery to build on that heritage while bringing a modern approach to traditional craftsmanship. My vision is simple: to create exceptional, made-to-measure furniture that combines quality materials, thoughtful design and outstanding workmanship, creating interiors that are truly unique to each home and client.”

Everything made in our workshop

Every piece is fully bespoke and manufactured at our workshop on Avenue Fields in Stratford-upon-Avon. Nothing is subbed out, so the quality, the tolerances and the programme all stay in our hands.

A team of 5

Our close-knit team handles projects end to end and includes an in-house electrician, a genuine point of difference on media walls and lit wardrobes, where it removes the need to coordinate with outside trades.

Built to last a lifetime

That is how Jon describes the work, and it is how the furniture is specified: quality materials, thoughtful design and workmanship that still looks right in twenty years.

Our team & workshop

On the road across Warwickshire

Our own vans run out of the Avenue Fields workshop every week, carrying furniture our team has made by hand to homes and commercial sites across the region.

How we work

Free consultations, individual pricing

Design consultations and quotations are always free. Because every project is fully bespoke, there is no fixed price list and no per-metre rate, each piece is priced individually once we have surveyed the space and agreed the specification.

A deposit of 30–50% is taken depending on the size of the project, with the balance due on completion. You will always know what is included before anything is made.

We work for homeowners across Warwickshire and for commercial clients, with £10m public liability and £5m employer's liability cover, and Checkatrade, SMAS, CHAS and Safecontractor accreditation.

Who we help

Homeowners and businesses across Warwickshire

Most of our work is for homeowners who want a room to finally work properly, a bedroom with wardrobes that reach the ceiling, a lounge with a media wall that hides every cable, a hallway that swallows coats and boots. We also work for commercial clients who need joinery that survives daily public use. From our workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon we cover Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Evesham, Banbury, Worcester, Cheltenham and Bromsgrove.

Mission and standards

The standard we hold every project to

Quality standards. Quality materials, thoughtful design and workmanship that stands up to close inspection, scribed to the real walls of your home, not to an assumed straight line.

Service philosophy. One team from first drawing to final adjustment. Nothing is subbed out, so there is never a question about who is accountable for the result.

Our commitment. Free design consultations and quotations, an itemised price agreed before anything is made, and joinery built to last a lifetime.

Safety and cover. £10m public liability and £5m employer's liability insurance, Checkatrade, SMAS, CHAS and Safecontractor accreditation, and a DBS-checked team in your home.

We couldn't be happier with the work MJS did building the children's playroom at Hooray's Gelato Kitchen. This was the first time they'd taken on a project like this, and you honestly would never know it.
